Looking to switch to consulting after a 4 (1+3) year work experience across startups in Strategy, Analytics & Ops roles (HospitalityTech, Insurtech and Saas) . 6 months back, switched to a bigger brand (corporate) in core business strategy and PMO role (Pharma).

Education from old IIT
All work experience is in domestic geography. Internship in US (6 month) during college not sure if this would count.
Regions: US / Europe - not decided yet

I suspect your pre-MBA industry showing "consulting" is not a reference to consulting firms, but perhaps an in-house consulting-styled role in startups. The key thing for you to break-through into a consulting firm post MBA should include: a) understanding the three skills a consultant needs, b) digging out examples from your past to showcase in your applications, and c) explaining why do you need an MBA to get into a consulting career. - Dee (a management consultant and an MBA admissions consultant)
