I have been working in the hospitality industry for the last 6 years. Short-term post MBA I would like to work at a hospitality company, long-term I would like to start my own hospitality/wellness consultancy in the US.

Trust you have researched well on whether hospitality and tourism firms hire international MBAs and sponsor H1B. If not, you can easily conclude what's the possible outcome of your applications.

HI. Congrats on surviving the pandemic in Hospitality. I have spent 15 years working in Hospitality in my professional career. I stumbled into it by accident... It is not very open to MBA's and there are only a handful of areas/spots that recruit them - often they dont' sponsor H1B's (I had to work for a consulting company that was an intermediary) and often they just hire McKinsey or BCG to do the MBA heavy lifting. The pay can also vary quite a bit depending on which team you are a part of and be quite a bit less than what Tech firms offer. If you got to the HBS employment report https://www.hbs.edu/recruiting/employme ... fault.aspx - Hospitality is not even a line on the list unfortunately....
