4.0 GPA for my master's degree. 31 years old.

Worked as an airline pilot for 6 years before transitioning to a leadership role in a US university focused on aviation - have been working for the university for the past 5 years. Post MBA target is to return to the airline industry with a role in finance.

Hi! Sorry about the HBS Ding. That's very unpredictable. Hopefully lots of other invites coming your way.
The US Airlines aer not super friendly towards H1B sponsorships, though they have lots of experience with crews using the airline visa. I honestly don't know enough but this is a bit of a niche goal and you need to really demonstrate that you are easily going from and to this niche industry and it will be super easy for you to recruit. Otherwise, AdCom's won't like it and that could be a reason for some of the dings, because they may think you have not done enough research or not serious enough about the goals. Just FYI.

Thank you, bb. I hope my willingness and availability to recruit to the more traditional industries after graduation comes through. I am definitely open to pursuing opportunities in consulting.

The bottom line is that on your application, you want to put a very simple and natural goal. You don’t want to tell admissions that you want a very unique job that’s going to be challenging to get. So you don’t want to be putting anything aspirational or Something that may have a higher likelihood of not coming through. Admissions like simple career transitions there more likely to work out and have a few moving parts. That makes you more likely candidate to succeed and the better alumni.

I know you already applied but if you are considering around two, that’s what I would recommend doing.
