Hey @sutharv ,

Your 6 years in tech is a strong asset, with a 665 GMAT Focus which is a decent score for top MBA programs. You should focus on highlighting leadership roles and the impact you've had in your tech career. What’s going to matter most in your application is how you connect the experiential dots and build a great story to stand out from other applicants in the pool. Be clear about how the MBA will help you advance in tech leadership.

We won’t be able to comment much as you have shared very little detail. If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you 1:1 to discuss your profile in detail and gauge your chances at top B schools.

Cheers!

Hi sutharv
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, a 655 looks decent for ISB and INSEAD. What is your GPA? Any other academic achievements? 6 years in the industry also looks strong. INSEAD puts a lot of emphasis on global exposure, make sure you cover that aspect. Both these schools will need strong essays plus your post-MBA goals will have to be aligned with the values of these schools and you will have to highlight what skills are you looking from an MBA to help you reach your career goals.

Hi gammadec,
What is your aggregate GPA?
Your work experience sounds compelling, but for INSEAD global exposure is a real requirement. Even if you have not travelled abroad, they would want to see that you have the international mindset and the associated qualities that on develops by working in global teams. Hope you satisfy that criteria. Read more about it here: https://mbadecoder.com/insead_for_indian_applicants/

Hey @gammadec ! Your professional background with a reputable company like LinkedIn and healthcare consulting sounds good. The workplace wellbeing program you led at LinkedIn is a plus which shows your leadership angle. Your academic background is also good. As your ECs outside work are limited, could be a drawback for schools valuing holistic profiles. You shall focus on articulating clear career goals, crafting impactful essays with strong recommendations. Overall, it will majorly depend on how you curate the stories and present them to Adcoms. If you work strategically on your stories, you can have a good shot. Good luck!
