As a Senior Product Manager at MoEngage, I lead a team of 2 product managers directly reporting to me, and a 24 members cross functional team of diverse streams. In my current role, I spearhead the product vision, strategy, and growth for MoEngage Analytics, a globally leading B2B SaaS platform that helps businesses to make data-driven decisions to drive personalized customer engagement. I am responsible for building new products, such as Insights-led Engagement Dashboards, Trend Analytics, and User Property Analysis Model, as well as enhancing the existing features, such as Insight Reports, Behavior, Funnels, Retention, Dashboards, RFM Segments, and User Paths.
Post MBA, I aim to transition from Senior Product Manager to Director of Products in B2B SaaS, leading product lines centred on AI-driven risk identification, advanced analytics, and Martech. This role will enable me to consult with customers from diverse business industries such as e-commerce, finance and business services on their data-driven growth strategies and complex business problems. Through this experience, I envision leading global product launches and drive revenue growth by working closely with the C-suite.
Your profile as a Senior Product Manager at MoEngage highlights strong leadership and technical expertise, with direct oversight of a 26 member cross-functional team and a proven track record of building and enhancing globally recognized B2B SaaS products. Your focus on measurable outcomes, such as developing insights-led dashboards and improving key analytics features, demonstrates a commitment to driving innovation and delivering business value. With a clear goal to transition into a Director of Products role, leading AI-driven solutions in Martech and advanced analytics, your post-MBA aspirations are well-aligned with your experience. However, planning to take the Executive Assessment (EA) instead of the GMAT may limit your options, and your 3.3 GPA, though not a major concern, will require mitigation through a strong test score and compelling application narrative. You might consider targeting schools like MIT Sloan, Haas, Kellogg, and Ross in the U.S., or INSEAD and LBS globally, will position you for leadership roles in B2B SaaS. What's going to matter most in your application is how you connect the experiential dots and build a great story to stand out from other applicants in the pool.
If you’d like, we are happy to discuss your leadership skills, impact created, challenges faced, awards and achievements and extracurriculars to assess your chances to top B-schools and strengthen your application with impactful stories.
