Your GMAT Focus score of 595 and GPA of 3.1 may pose challenges for top-tier MBA programs, as they are below the typical averages. With only 2 years of consulting experience, you’ll need to clearly articulate your leadership potential, career impact, and reasons for pursuing an MBA at this stage. To strengthen your application, retaking the GMAT to aim for a score above 645 would significantly improve your chances.
If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a 1:1 call with you to discuss your profile in detail and shortlist schools for you. Thanks for sharing your background. Your exp seems well aligned for MiM/MAM programs. But, the GMAT Focus is slightly lower for INSEAD, HEC, and LBS. However, if you’ve built strong essays and can communicate your consulting-to-sustainability pivot clearly, you’re still in play, especially in later rounds. So now, it is about fine-tuning execution. If you’d like help crafting a stronger positioning, I’d be happy to discuss in a 1-on-1.
