Hey Mayank, solid results here. Congrats on McCombs with a 25% scholarship, plus admits from McDonough and Kenan-Flagler. That’s a strong place to be.

Your profile’s got depth. Three years in healthcare consulting at a T2 firm, followed by product strategy and operations at a unicorn, and then regional leadership in SEA at a Series A. That’s a lot of impact across industries and stages. Schools love that kind of breadth.

GRE 326 and a 3.8 GPA give you academic credibility across the board. The Ross ding hurts, but honestly, that’s more about R2 being competitive and consulting-heavy. No real red flag in your profile.

Between your options, McCombs is the clear winner. Consulting outcomes are strong. Austin’s buzzing. And the scholarship helps offset costs. McDonough and Kenan-Flagler are solid programs, but with no scholarship and slightly weaker consulting placement, they don’t bring the same ROI.

Unless you’ve got a strong location pull to DC or the Southeast, McCombs is the best bet. Just make sure your story is tight going into recruiting. Position yourself as someone who understands healthcare, product, and scaling in emerging markets. That’s a compelling narrative for MBB and T2 firms.

Great job getting here. You’ve set yourself up well.

Cheers,
