I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani with ~4 years of experience in capital projects and facilities engineering at ExxonMobil. In my role, I worked on large-scale projects, led cross-functional teams, and contributed to initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, standardization, and cost optimization. I also gained exposure to early-stage work in emerging climate and decarbonization technologies. Earlier in my career, I worked on international projects involving coordination across multiple stakeholders and delivery under tight timelines.
After leaving my role, I was not employed while applying to MBA programs and used that period to focus fully on applications. I have since rejoined the workforce at a smaller company, where I am currently involved in executing an industrial project from the ground up.
I am targeting a post-MBA transition into consulting or energy-focused investment roles, with a long-term interest in energy transition and climate-focused capital allocation. I would appreciate feedback on my profile strength and positioning for top global MBA programs. I am planning to reapply in round 1 (Sept' 26) for class of 2029.
