Wow, what a high GMAT score. Congratulations on that! What makes this special is that you are an older applicant and usually getting such high scores for the older folks is not so easy as they have been away from the academic grunt for many years.

Overall, i see several positives in your profile. You have experimented and pivoted your career several times, which shows adaptability and a go-getter attitude . That said, for your post MBA goals, the adcoms would like to see some continuity with what you currently do. So, IMO, don't come up with career goals that sound far fetched or entirely different from the experience you have built so far.

Your work as faculty and teacher through Youtube shows consistency in your passion for teaching. Needless to say, having a popular channel is a great achievement and can teach you several skills like understanding customer needs and delivering on them- something that aligns with your prod management role. have you been able to monetize the YT channel? That would be another plus point to add to your resume.

Your age will not be a deal breaker for MBA admission. However, as an older applicant, you must answer a few questions- why is now the best time for you to do an MBA? What is hindering you from getting the roles you wish and make an MBA mandatory?

Also, select your b-schools wisely as you would want to be in a cohort where you can find people in your age and experience bracket. This is important as you want to maximize your learning from other people. If your wife plans to join you, then having a good partner's club on campus can also be a consideration. Your 3 target b-schools look alright, but you may want to add a few other European options. Do note that INSEAD prefers applicants with international experience. Even if you have not travelled abroad, you would want to show that you have an evolved world view and you can work in teams with diverse people.

CA rankholder, 3 years in EdTech/teaching with top student outcomes, and now pivoted into PM/Data Science with upward progression, it’s a compelling narrative. The GMAT Focus score (775) is elite and offsets your undergrad GPA (63%).

Your challenge will be narrative clarity: tie together your accounting roots, education impact, and tech product roles into a logical arc that flows into consulting. INSEAD and ISB are strong fits; for IIMA PGPX, be prepared to clearly defend your pivot from CA to DS to Consulting. Consider expanding to LBS or Oxford if interested in Europe.

You can briefly explain it in optional essays without sounding defensive, then pivot to what you learned or improved upon later (CA success, GMAT, etc.). From Audit/Tax to teaching to Product + Data science to Academia (visiting faculty), you demonstrate versatility, depth, and leadership across industries and functions. Promoted fast in product roles, built a teaching brand from scratch, and led a team in a tech setup. Prestigious and globally understood credential. It will matter deeply at IIMs and ISB, and give you analytical credibility at places like INSEAD. Music, languages, and YouTube teaching make your profile well-rounded, not just a number. Your Teaching experience is a differentiator, especially since you were successful (Rank holders in batches).

With such a diverse background, you must tighten your story arc:
Why move from teaching to product management?
Why MBA now, when you’ve already scaled up?
Why consulting and what kind?
How do your past roles make you uniquely suited to succeed in consulting?

You can also explore schools like IMD (Switzerland), LBS, Kellogg, Fuqua, Ross, HEC Paris, ESADE and and IESE.

Questions for you to reflect upon:
1. What kind of consulting excites you- strategy, tech, transformation, or financial advisory?
2. Do you intend to work globally after the MBA, or return to India in 2-3 years?
3. Are you interested in entrepreneurship post-MBA as well, given your YouTube and faculty experience?
4. How have you demonstrated people leadership (team management, mentoring, stakeholder influence)?

Hereon, it is very important to be able to TIE all these together in a unified theme, that presents all these as a well planned out career chart. That is also why it is very important to get an application that is not just compelling, but also makes the schools invest in a successful future leader in you. Instead of your current choice of schools, where you may face stiff competition, I would strongly suggest you to look at a wider net, which could not only get you stellar scholarships, but also get you loans without collaterals from Top 20 programs.
