Hi @Rajkoushik_17,
Without givig the details of your GMAT/GRE, College name or ranking, employer details, ECs etc, if you want experienced Admissions Consultants to give you advice, not only are you wasting their time, but also your own time as well, since all you get would be generic advice (if it is sugar coated to help you believe what you want to believe, you would be in a much worse off condition).

Good Luck

Hi Raj
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong achievements in capex-intensive expansion projects, cost savings of INR 2+ Cr, cross-functional collaboration, commercial negotiations, and operational optimization leading to significant efficiency gains you bring a strong perspective.

Your academic foundation from NIT Surat looks solid. Targeting a 735 GMAT FE will position you competitively for your target schools. While your leadership impact and tangible results are impressive, you will also need to strongly highlight leadership potential, career clarity, and international readiness. It would also help to know more about your extracurricular involvement, leadership outside work, and global exposure to refine school recommendations and strengthen your application positioning.

Also, to help sharpen your positioning across platforms, ARINGO is offering a free LinkedIn profile optimization, which can help you better align your story for both adcoms and recruiters.

Hello,

You bring a strong operations and project management foundation from a capex-heavy manufacturing environment, a background that is less saturated compared to tech and finance applicants from India. Your quantified achievements (₹2.2 Cr cost savings, 90+ man-days saved, cross-functional negotiation experience) are exactly the kind of measurable impact admissions committees like to see. The Google Project Management certificate also signals initiative and upskilling.

For M7 and elite European programs (INSEAD, LBS, HEC), the challenge is differentiation within the Indian male applicant pool. You’ll need to frame your work not only in terms of operational efficiency but also in terms of strategic business outcomes, linking plant-level successes to broader supply chain, sustainability, and market competitiveness. If you can connect your consulting post-MBA goals to these global-scale challenges, you’ll build a far more compelling narrative.

Your GPA is strong, but you didn’t mention a GMAT score, for the schools you’re targeting, aim for 720+ classic equivalent to remain competitive. Adding even short-term international project exposure, or showcasing how your work impacts global markets, will further strengthen your profile.
