I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics, graduating top 5% of the class.

I worked as a researcher at the university for 1 year during my Master's. in 2019, shortly after graduation, I moved to Iceland for a 9 months internship. I became the owner's right-hand and he offered me the position of CFO in his new start-up in Sicily, position I have hold part-time and semi-remotely since then.
In early 2021, I moved back to Iceland and started my own business offering translation services. Shortly after, I accepted an offer for a job at an Icelandic small engineering business as project manager. After 6 months, I was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer/Business Development Manager, and was awarded 2% ownership in the company.
By the end of 2022, I decided to close down my translation business due to the lack of time to take care of all my responsibilities, keeping my part-time CFO and full-time CMO positions.
Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated much of my time to learning about financial management and corporate finance, as well as investing. I enjoy analysing publicly traded companies, studying their business models, competitive advantages, management, and capital allocation. This interest has led me to manage my own portfolio and follow a constant learning process.
Given my passion for finance, investing and asset valuation, I would like to pivot to more finance-related roles. I have experience in different roles, countries and industries, and I was always able to enjoy my duties. Therefore, I am quite open to all sort of opportunities. However, I am not sure if this lack of clear goal is a positive aspect for admission teams. In terms of geographies, I am willing to study job offers from across Europe (Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, the UK, Iceland etc).
