I have 6 years of work experience in handling several high-value international and domestic arbitrations arising out of EPC contracts. I have advised on financial implications of various delay events and formulation of claims. I have also acted on behalf of several clients in matters covered under the insolvency and bankruptcy laws of India (shareholder disputes, revival of distressed assets, etc.). I have appeared and argued before the Supreme Court of India as well as various other forums.

I have led a team of at least 3 lawyers in arbitrations wherein claims were to the tune of 500 plus crores and independently argued shareholder disputes before the NCLAT, India.

Post MBA Goal: I aim to work in the restructuring team of an investment bank/special situation fund. Another, more aligned post MBA goal would be to work as a disputes consultant in a consulting firm like FTI, HKA.

I am aiming to pursue MBA in europe and would also be open to relocate to either Europe or the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi. )

Hi
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your profile looks distinctive and strongly non-traditional, especially for Europe. 6 years as a lawyer handling high-value EPC arbitrations, insolvency, restructuring, and Supreme Court appearances gives you credibility. The fact that you’ve led teams, argued independently before apex courts, and worked on ₹500+ crore claims maps extremely well to restructuring, special situations, disputes consulting, and distressed investing, your post-MBA goals make logical sense and don’t feel forced.

Your GPA looks on the lower end, which means you should aim for a strong GMAT Focus to offset your GPA and signal quantitative readiness. If you frame your story around commercial judgment, financial impact of disputes, and restructuring exposure, and back it up with a strong GMAT, you will have solid chances at your target schools.

I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help!
No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
