I am a U.S. Navy Lieutenant and Naval Flight Officer with over six years of operational leadership on the P-8A Poseidon, specializing in anti-submarine warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and international defense cooperation. Currently, I serve as a Military Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, where I bridge military operations with diplomacy, ensuring compliance with U.S. export control laws while supporting U.S. defense trade interests. In this role, I am the only O-3 serving as a Military Advisor at the State Department, working alongside a Wardroom of more senior Navy and Marine Corps officers. Despite being the most junior by rank, I am entrusted to lead critical aspects of the Navy–Marine Corps MILAD Wardroom, where I oversee finances and membership while helping strengthen community and professional ties across the organization.


I am a qualified Mission Commander and Instructor Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) on the P-8A Poseidon, having earned both qualifications well ahead of the typical 18–24 month timeline by completing them in just 15 months. I was fully responsible for leading a detachment, taking a P-8 to Singapore and Thailand in support of international air shows and large-scale multinational exercises. I also directed combat-ready crews through complex ISR and anti-submarine warfare missions.

As one of the lead Naval Flight Officers in my squadron, I mentored and developed the next cadre of NFOs, shaping their progression and readiness. Under this leadership, the squadron earned the Battle Efficiency Award (Battle “E”) for two consecutive years, recognizing us as the top-performing unit in our community. These experiences taught me how to develop people, build winning teams, and deliver results in demanding environments — the same skills I want to bring into the private sector.

I graduated magna cum laude with a 3.72 GPA from Florida State University with a degree in Information Technology and have completed extensive professional military education and joint training. Looking ahead, I am preparing for a top-tier MBA to expand my business and leadership toolkit. My long-term vision is to transition into the tech sector — leading projects or joining a startup I truly value, particularly those focused on innovation with social impact. I want to use my background in mission-driven leadership to help build organizations that not only succeed commercially but also make a meaningful difference.
