I am a financial advisor working at JP Morgan and have about 6 years working experience. I have CFP and CFA certifications and looking to transition my career into either investment management or corporate finance functions. I am involved at my work with leadership initiatives such as peer coaching and leading interns. Outside of work, I serve as a servant leader at my local house church every week.
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, you have got a very strong profile for finance-focused MBA programs. A 775 GMAT puts you in the top tier of all applicants, and pairing that with 6 years at JP Morgan, plus CFA + CFP, makes you extremely compelling for investment management tracks.
Your advisory background gives you solid client-facing, analytical, and portfolio exposure, and your leadership touchpoints help round out the profile. The church leadership work also adds community involvement and maturity - something that your target schools value. The biggest thing to sharpen is your story- why shift from wealth advisory to IM/CorpFin and how your MBA bridges that pivot.
I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help!
No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
