Congratulations, Abhishek. Going from 550 to 705 is a major jump, and the fact that you broke through after 8 months of feeling stuck says a lot about your persistence.

What you described as the turning point is exactly right. The shift from "what is the correct answer" to "how am I actually thinking through this" is where real improvement lives. Most students who plateau are not missing content; they are missing a clear view of where their reasoning is breaking down, and once that gets diagnosed properly, the same effort starts producing results.

Building the right approach, decision-making under time pressure, eliminating repeated mistakes — those are the three things that matter most once the fundamentals are in place. Sounds like you applied all three. Well earned.

I am incredibly grateful to the team at VerbalHub for helping me achieve my target GMAT score of 705.

After nearly 8 months of self-study + online prep, I found myself stuck at around 550, and had honestly lost confidence and motivation.

Joining VerbalHub and working closely with mentors completely changed that trajectory.

What truly stood out was how deeply they understood my strengths and weaknesses and then crafted precise, personalized strategies tailored to my needs.

The mentorship was not just about concepts—it was about:

Building the right approach
Improving decision-making under time pressure
Eliminating repeated mistakes

One of the biggest game changers for me was the detailed analysis of my thought process. Instead of just correcting answers, the mentors focused on how I was thinking, which helped me fix core gaps permanently.

What sets VerbalHub apart is not just teaching, but genuine mentorship and support. Even during low phases, I always had someone guiding me, motivating me, and pushing me in the right direction.

Improving from 550 to 705 felt like a massive comeback for me, and I truly believe it would not have been possible without their guidance.
