Fairly new to this community! Planning to take the GMAT for the first time in H1 this year, and as I'm still working full time, I think a structured prep class would really help! Anyone has a good prep class in Shanghai to recommend? Thanks!

Hi tnwln,

You can go through this article to understand the right way to prepare for GMAT.

https://www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/202 ... L6b4hafmwA

As GMAT is an adaptive test, I suggest you to go with an online course as it helps you take adaptive quizzes and provides you all the content on a single platform. The best way to choose an online course is to check out the free trials of the courses out there and then choose the one which suits you the most. But make sure to choose the course which can help you with not only the concepts but also the application of concepts. And it would be even better if the course can help you with the study plan as it will help you be clear of what to study on any given day. You can check out the free trial of GMATWhiz and take a decision. It is a personalized course that comes with an integrated study plan and adapts the content in real-time on basis of your performance. It provides an AI powered learning platform that comes with a comprehensive amount of content and the integrated study plan is completely personalized for you. Furthermore, the platform provides real time insights on your performance, highlighting your strengths and weaknesses while providing a road map to improvement. You can do that here -> www.gmatwhiz.com

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need to discuss this in more detail and need help with a strategy to get beyond the 700 mark. I'd be happy to help.

Hi tnwln,

If you are also looking for self-study resources, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

You also may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

If you consider online programs (both one-on-one coaching and group / software prep solutions). then you'll have access to the best options worldwide. Online also is much more convenient for busy schedules since there is no travel time or location coordination involved with tutors / coaches / instructors.
