IMHO .. the answer is E ... we can't find anything concrete to make a conclusion
1) says x-intercept > 1 .. we need to know y intercept also --Insufficient
Eliminate A and D

2) says slope = -1/10
=> y = -1/10*x + c
=> x-intercept = 10*c ...c (y-intercept) could be anything thus can't make any conclusion
Eliminate B)

1) & 2)
Now x > 1 and x = 10c
=>c >1/10 ...
we neede something like a<c<b ..so that we can infer whether y-intercepy>1 or <1 ... we don't find any information from these two statements ..

(1)The line may or maynot intersect. Without knowing the slope insuff
BCE

(2) slope = -1/10
co-ordinates of end points of the line could be (0,1) & (10,0) Hence line would intersect the circle

The answer is C, the slope only is not enough to determine where the line crosses the X & Y axis.

1) gives a point on the line (1,0)
2) gives the slope of the line

hence the equation of theline if (y-y1)=m(x-x1)

simplified => 10y+x = 1 . Now this line can be plotted in only one way , hence C

I'll have to take (E) on this one. Try picking large and small numbers for a set of (x,y) coordinates and the outcome differs.
