Guys i need an insight, so overall i got 5 wrong in a GMAT Club sectional test (3 hard and 2 easy), and that has been my trend mostly. How should i go about it kind of confused, so i practice easy questions, the tough ones, mixed bag?

Please give me further advice to get better at test taking, the clock really freaks me out
There’s likely specific topics that you need to get stronger in and it’s always better to start at the easy level.

Find the topics you make mistakes and then focus on those questions starting with easy and if you’re getting 19 out of 20 correct, move along to medium for the same topic.

I have a question on scoring.

In DI section, we have questions with 2-3 sub questions right ? how will it be considered for scoring if we answer 2 correct 1wrong or 1 correct 2 wrong or 1 correct 1 wrong. Based on this I want to understand if it is worth spending time on large calculation questions, should we skip and keep them for last. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The test is adaptive and unpredictable. There is no way you will know or anyone who tells you can tell you how it will go. Some people said the test was easy and they got 555 Others said it was super hard and they got a 725. The test knows and predicts your answer ahead of time. It knows you will fail the 805 question but that’s all it has to give you and if you fail it, it will not penalize it because it knows you will fail it. The score should not be impacted by the difficulty of the questions but rather by your performance. But do prepare yourself to face questions you will not know how to answer. And also, if you are scoring 555 on the test, do not expect to walk out with a 605 - that’s wishful thinking. What you are getting on teh GMAT prep is usually the max score you can expect on the test day, so don’t waste money on attempts if you are not close.

My section score varies some time my quant is very good and di very bad.
Sometime verbal is very good but quant is very bad.

The final score always remains the same.

This confuse me which section is weak.

Why this fluctuations occurs and how to make it consistent?

Sometime I feel test wants me to be in that same final score range.
