I gave my exam a month back and got a mere 600 despite getting decent scores in my mocks i.e 650-660. I'll be starting my prep again in a week or so as I have my final college exams going on. I'm thinking of giving myself 2 months to reach 700 plus. Is this sufficient or do you people think I need more?
Moreover, I've also identified my weaknesses and a big one is Critical Reasoning. I hate these questions and usually don't get too many of them right? I honestly don't know how to really improve in these CR questions. Sentence Correction is really good and RC is okaish and Not really worried about them since I know I can improve.
I expected to do better in Maths, but I guess I was really nervous and that did account for the massive 50 point drop. Anyways now that I'm starting my maths prep again, should I just start doing all the 700 level questions since I'm reasonably good in maths or stick with the 600 ones. Maybe if I manage to do all the 700 level questions, the 650-700 ones should feel like a breeze right?
If anyone could address my doubts and also give me some more tips, I'd be really really greatful.
Thanks :D
P.S I'd be taking almost a 1 and a half month of break from gmat since i'll start studying from next week, so should I give a diagnostics again?
For math - Challenge yourself on the 700 level questions -- then later on mix it all up to see if you can handle 600s mixed in with 700s, etc..
