Hi all,
I am writing in connection with the GMAT pacing issue. By the way, my GMAT exam is in 3 weeks from now.
I took 4
MGMAT mocks and for the last 10/12 questions of each section (mainly for the verbal section) i had to allow 30 to 40 seconds per question and of course almost all the answers were wrong.
This problem affects a lot my GMAT score especially that the report for each mock mentions a very good percentage of right answers at the beginning of each section and the deterioration begins with the last 10/15 questions.
I have to improve a bit my Fundamentals in each section but i am confident that, as of today, i do have a good background for both sections.
Now I have to focus on "pacing myself" issue to allow, at least for the first 32 questions (for QS) and for the first 35 questions (for VS) the required time.
Therefore, i am thinking about the following:
1- for VS: to guess for evaluate questions as well as for the bold questions (CR), and to guess for the inference questions (RC) (even to squeeze one RC passage).
2 - for QS: in addition to an improvement of the basics, i think to guess, mainly, on probability and permutation questions and to squeeze 1 or 2 time consuming questions.
Please may i have your input on this strategy? Any other strategy or method to improve my "pace" problem?
Thanks a lot for all!
