C,D and E can be eliminated right away. That leaves A and B. Ging for A.
(A) Herself - CORRECT
(B) Herself being - gramatically right, but more wordier than A.
(C) In that she is herself - She is herself? WRONG
(D) Because of being herself - being herself? WRONG
(E) Being herself - being herself?WRONG

A seems better than the rest..

It is hard to choose when all the answer choices don't seem quite right :)

B sounds like correct answer, but I could see it being considered too wordy.
