Lets see :
(5*x^-3*y^3)^-3
This will then reduce to
5^-3*x^(-3*-3)*y^(3*-3)
x^9/(5^3*y^9)

Is this what you mean ?

(x*y*z)^2 is same as x^2*y^2*z^2

The rule is very simple.
(xy)^2= x^2*y^2 or
(5xy)^2 = 5^2*x^2*y^2
in simple words, when things are being multiplied and they ahve a combined power, then that combine dpower is indeed each one's individual power.
power=exponent
