A commission of r % is applied on sales worth $s. Thus commission = (r/100)* s = rs/100

In the same way that we can express 45% as 45/100, we can express r% as r/100. Thus, if the commission is r%, the salesperson earns s x r/100 = sr/100 commission from the sale of s dollars.

Answer: E
