I am curious as what is considered a general or "good" strategy for approaching a SC question when the entire sentence is underlined. From my gathering the central issue with these questions is modifiers. Im not sure how to approach these the quickest. Is it just best to read the whole thing and weed out the issues? Should i pick one part of the sentence and look for splits?
Some of us normally have a kind of fear for entire underlined sentence, but I think that these questions are relatively easy to solve.
The strategy is simple & you have mentioned as well. 2-3 way split!!!
MGMAT call it Split & Re-Split. While you read the entire original sentence, you can immediately note 1 or 2 errors (these can be verb tense or modifier issues). All have to do is just scan the answer choices vertically.
As
MGMAT SC says,'' Scan the answer choices vertically-do not read them-looking for the differences that split the answer choices". In my opinion, this is the best way to tackle entire under lined questions.
