a should be greater than c makes > 0
b should be less than d makes < 0
Numerator is bigger and denominator is smaller makes fraction greater.
Must put statements together for them to be sufficient.

Is a/b > c/d. Since all four are positive, we can cross-multiply. So basically question is asking whether a*d > b*c?

Statement 1:
a > c, but no information about b/d. Not sufficient.

Statement 2:
b < d or d > b, but no information about a/c. Not sufficient.

Combining the statements,
a > c
d > b

We can multiply both to get a*d > c*b (since all four are positive, we can multiply like this). Sufficient.
