Area of the shaded region=$$\frac{1}{4}$$*(Area of circle-Area of square ABCD)
=$$\frac{1}{4}*[π*6^2-({6\sqrt{2}})^2]$$=9π-18

Area of the shaded region = Area of sector - Area of right angled triangle

Area of sector = $$(90/360)π r^2$$ = $$(1/4)πr^2$$

Area of right angled triangle = 1/2(6)(6)= 18

C) 9π – 18

area of region :
90/360 * pi * 6^2 = 9 pi
area of triangle = 0.5 * 6^2 = 18
area of shaded region = 9pi - 18
IMO C
