There are a total of 12 edges on a cube.
Let s=one edge of a cube
12s=48
s=4
Volume=s^3=4^3=64
So, answer: D

A cube will have 12 edges of equal lengths so the length of each edge will be 48/12 = 4

Volume of cube = 4*4*4 = 64
