Volume of cube = 6*6*6

Let h be the height of the rectangular solid.
Volume of rectangular solid = 12*9*h.

As both are equal we can equate.

Hence h=216/(9*12)
=2

The volume of the cube with a side length of 6 is 6 x 6 x 6.

If we let the height of the rectangular solid = h, then we have:

6 x 6 x 6 = 12 x 9 x h

216 = 108h

2 = h

Answer: A

Cube is 6*6*6 while rectangular solid is 12*9*x
We can see that using prime factoring 12*9 gives us 6*6*3
therefore, we need x = 2 to make the last 6
