A square of an integer can have units digit as 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 9.

B, C, D and E do not have the units digit as 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 or 9. Only option A has the units digit as 6.

Answer: A

This problem can be solved at a glance if one is through with Property of square Numbers

For a square number the units digit will always be - {0, 1,4,5,6,9 }

Among the options given only option A has units digit 6, hence this is the correct answer. :-D :lol:

Square of an integer can have units digit as 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 9 only.

The trick to this answer is knowing the squares of numbers 0 to 9 as square of any number, however large, will have a units digit among 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 and 9

2347^2 = (2340 + 7)^2
524623^2=(524620 + 3)^2
Options B, C, D and E do not have the units digit as 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 or 9. Only option A has the units digit as 6.

Correct Option: A
