Ans should be A

Mary is the subject . Hence who is appropriate.

Therefore only two options are left A and D

D has a tense error, as the event took place in the past and D is in the present tense.

Isn't Mary the object of the sentence in this case?
Obviously six teenagers are the subject.

Delete "they say", "has continued to appear to them over the ensuing years" needs a subject; "who" should be used here, not "whom"
