For the following question the parallelism logic works perfect with option C while for other options it doesn't .

Parallelism is at issue

A) Incorrect a family ski race in the winter, and puts together a trail run in the summer.
a musical concert ....... and a family ......., are parallel to each other because both are noun phrase whereasa "puts together a trail run in the summer" is a verb phrase

(B) Incorrect organized a family ski race in the winter, and puts together a trail run in the summer
hosts, organized and puts are all verb and parallel to each other but the change of verb tense from present to past organized is incorrect
(C) Correcta family ski race in the winter, and a trail run in the summer.
All the three pars are noun phrase and hence paralle to each other
(D) Incorrect puts together a family ski race in the winter, and a summer trail run.
Puts is a verb and other two phrases are noun phrase, hence not parallel

(E) Incorrect a winter ski race, and it puts together a trail run in the summer.
it puts together a trail run in the summer is a clause and is not paralle to other two noun phrase

Hence (C) a family ski race in the winter, and a trail run in the summer.
is correct
