Perimeter of the shaded rectangle = 2(l+b)=2(l+2)=20
l+2=10
l=8
Side of square = 8
Perimeter of unshaded portion = 2(8+6) = 28

Length of rectangle = 8
Side of square = 8
Perimeter of square = 8*4 = 32

perimeter of the unshaded portion = 32 - 2*2 = 28
