Is the integer N divisible by 3 or more positive integers?

The question asks, whether the integer N has 3 or more factors?

(1) N is a prime number.

A Prime number has only two factors, 1 and itself. Hence answer is No. This statement is sufficient.

(2) 0 < N < 4

N can be 1,2 or 3. Each of these have less than 3 factors. Hence answer is No. This statement is sufficient.

Answer is D.

Statement 1 :
If a number is prime, it is divisible by 2 numbers, 1 and itself.. Hence If N is prime, its divisible by 2 numbers->sufficient

Statement 2 :
If a number is <4, it could be 1,2,3. in all cases, the number will have maximum 2 divisors ->sufficient

The question is not what is being asked but its hidden.

The question is: Is the integer N a prime number or not?
Because a prime number has only two factors (1 and itself).
And the question is asking if N has 3 or more factors.

1) Sufficient.
2) 0<N<4
As N is an integer, possible values of N are 1,2, and 3. And all these values have less than 3 factors. Sufficient.

The answer is D.
