Seeming is an adjective. An adjective modifies a noun.

Seemingly is an adverb (which correctly modifies the adjective "lesser" here)

Its down to A or B ... B uses 'seemingly', which fits in much better than 'seeming' in A

I would rather go with A
B. seemingly is not correct...it is an adverb and we need an adjective
C. the use of like is incorrect
D. very bad in form
E. like C
