(1)+(2) Even when combining the two statements, we cannot conclusively determine the average of data set T, as we lack specific information about its terms. For example, both {1, 3, 5, 7, 9} and {11, 13, 15, 17, 19} are sets of consecutive odd integers with a range of 8, yet they have different averages.

First, look at the question. It suggests which elements specifically comprise the set T. We need more data to tell that. So, take (1) to answer this. T consists of consecutive odd integers. If you interpret as T consists of odd among all integers, you should be in the wrong direction as I was. In fact, it means that T might be {-1,1,3} or just {99,101} and so on. So, it is not possible to determine set T from that information. Insufficient.
(2) The range is 8..also can't define T. Insufficient.
(1)+(2) not sufficient too because of too many possibilities still. For example, {1,3,5,7,9},{3,5,7,9,11}..................Insufficient
