Out of 2500 tons of ore, daily amount of pure metal = 0.4% of 2500
= 0.4/100 * 2500 = 10 tons

Daily pure metal is 10 tons, We have to find number of days where it will be equal to 2500 tons
2500/10 = 250. Hence C answer

Each day 2,500 x 0.4/100 = 25 x 0.4 = 10 tons of pure metal is mined.

So it will take 2500/10 = 250 days to mine 2500 tons of pure metal.

Answer: C
