Let Total Distance is 100miles.
S1 = 10 miles/hr, T1 = 2hrs
S2 = 30,miles/hr, T2 = 2hrs
S3 = 20miles/hr, T3 = 1hr
So average speed = (S1xT1 + S2xT2 + S3xT3)/ T1 + T2 + T3
= 100/5 = 20
IMO-C

We can assume a suitable value of the distance so that our calculations become simple.
Let total distance = 100 miles
First part pf the distance: 20 miles at 10 miles/hr => Time = 2 hours
Second part pf the distance: 60 miles at 30 miles/hr => Time = 2 hours
Third part pf the distance: 20 miles at 20 miles/hr => Time = 1 hours
Thus, total time taken to cover 100 miles = 2 + 2 + 1 = 5 hours
=> Average speed = 100/5 = 20 miles/hr
