p = 50%; 5 flips means that n = 5. The probability to find is for the coin to have heads at least 3 times.

(5C3 + 5C4 + 5C5) * (1/2)^5 = 1/2

I think it should be 1/4 . May be i am wrong

p of atleast 3 heads = 1 - prob of less than 3 heads

p of 1 head = 5C1 / 32 =5/32
p of 2 heads = 5C2 /32 = 10/32

p (1head) + p(2 head) = 5/32 + 10/32 = 15/4

p (of atleast 3 heads ) 1-15/32 = 17/32

Please let me know where did i go wrong

I did the same as kpadma, only each separate.

10/32 + 5/32 + 1/32 = 16/32 = 1/2
