Had my interview today. Preparing definitely helped me, but I only prepared the night before. Of course, I went through this process already last year, so I knew what to expect.

In the end, I was making myself worry over nothing. The interview was very pleasant. I think what also helped is that my interviewer was of the opposite sex. I've always felt that people, in general, interview better with someone of the opposite sex.

My questions were very standard and have all been reported before on the ClearAdmit blog (except for maybe the penultimate question below):

-Walk me through your resume
-Why do you need an MBA?
-What are your long term goals?
-Tell me about your leadership style and a team experience. What three things would the members of that team say about you?
-Tell me about a time you failed.
-Why Tuck?
-What will you contribute to Tuck?
-Explain to me the current situation at your company (I work for a unique financial services company that is in the news a lot, and people are always curious. PM me if you want to know)
-If you could meet any person in the world or in history, who would it be?
-Is there anything you wish I had asked you?

Thanks.

Does anybody have any idea how Tuck is going to release the interview invitation? I heard people around me already got interviews yesterday, but I have no idea if I am already kicked out of the game since I have not received my invitation yet ;(

Whoa, we probably saw each other in person. I interviewed yesterday as well, and stuck around for the lunch/tour.

The interview was very, very conversational (compared to my other interview in last year's app cycle); they try to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and are just over-the-top friendly.

Ward's questions pretty much covers the spectrum of question types; one piece of advice i'd give is to have something ready for the last question (don't just say i'm all set).

Agree. That caught me off guard when I interviewed. I managed to speak something back then, but not sure if it was the best thing to highlight.
My Tuck interview was very conversational as well. However, it was one of my earlier ones, and I think I could have done much better.

Good luck to people who are still left to interview.

Same here. Tuck is going to host a info session in Shanghai this on NOV.5th, and it seemed that some interview invites have been sent out. Haven't received mine yet. Wonder if I still get a chance?

God bless me!

I'd say wait for a few more days. Their rationale for dispatch rates is beyond my comprehension. I still remember receiving mine a few days before the notification deadline.

FYI, I interviewed via Skype w/ a second year Tuckie.

Got my invitation today at 4 am Beijing time! Yes, since Tuck will hold info session on 7th Nov, they are sending invitations out. Beijing session will be held in St Regis on 8th and it seems that AO(Kristin) will be interviewing each candidate every 30 minutes.

Got to get prepared soon!
