Carlos, I think that would depend on the quality of International applicants in R2. As it is, applicants from India were not gonna get an interview till March. It makes more sense for them to wait and pool the two sets of applications and then schedule interviews accordingly in March.

Depends from school to school. In this particular case it'd depend on what sort of candidates apply in R2, since Stern had a very different schedule last year,

Thanks Ronin7. I have another question. I'm confused about being wait listed before an interview. So does that mean that once you're called to interview, there will only be an accept/reject and no waitlist? Because it seems to work differently at different schools.

Not necessarily. You can be waitlisted again after an interview.

Is there any Indian who has got accepted? I know quite a few Indians who have either been rejected or have been wait listed without interview.
