Same for me as you - I got a tracking confirmation from USPS that says it arrived Tuesday. No notice from Stern yet. However, they did contact me about my GMAT score report not arriving yet so I assume if the essay didn't arrive then they'd also let me know. I may follow up in a week or so just to be sure, but I'm not super worried. Posted from my mobile device

I haven't heard yet either, but the way I look at it is if they didn't like us then they would have rejected us already. The fact that we have not heard yet, while not ideal, still means that we are in the running. Keep your chin up, according to last year's blog people were getting invitations to interview up until the final day of notifications

rajiv1984 - I have a better answer for you than my last one. I called the admissions office today. They told me that you only need to be concerned if, on the Status Check website, it says they're missing Essay 2. Otherwise, you should assume it has been received. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hi, I haven't read last year's forum yet but I would say that Stern does a great job on the interview. It was clear that they read my application in and out, so rather than having to explain things already on my app, they gave me the chance to elaborate and clarify. I would say the potential weaknesses in my application were the fact that I'm a career switcher and also that because I chose option A for essay 2, I didn't have a lot of personality in my essays. These were two things that they asked me more about so I was really happy I had a chance to discuss this with them. I think if you know yourself, and if you know why you want to go to Stern, you will be prepared. The process was exactly 30 minutes and very laid back, my interviewer was very nice and asked me about my stay in new york since I was out of town. hope this is helpful.
