Hi all - I interviewed at Stern a little over 4 weeks ago and I still have not heard anything, even though the interviewer said I should be hearing back in 3-4 weeks. Should I be worried? Should I follow up with an email or phone call? I don't want to seem overly pushy, as I understand we just returned from the holidays and a pretty bad winter storm.

Hi kxc, I wouldn't worry at all. From what I've read on other forums, you shouldn't follow up with the ADCOM for an updated status. They were essentially shutdown for two weeks and I am sure they have a back log of emails from both applicants and current students. Remember the 3 - 4 weeks is an estimate not an exact date. Hey kxc, you're not alone. I also interviewed a little over three weeks ago, and still have not heard anything either. I think they're pretty backed up from the holidays, the storm, and administering apps

I'm also waiting with the same time line. You need to remember that they said 3 weeks of business days. they had a pretty long winter break (i think Dec 19-Jan2) and with the storm - I would say we will hear by early next week.

KXC YOu are not alone. I interviewed on Dec 12. When I was there I spoke briefly to Rabia Ahmed (Director of MBA Admissions) and she told me it would take longer than expected due to the holidays. Since they were also closed because of the storm, I look at it as today marks the 2 week mark since my interview.
