Hi MV23,
Good question. I believe that the choice of a b-school is a very subjective one. I can share what factors I considered, but my decision is by no means an indication of the "right" choice for everyone.
I evaluated:
-MBA program quality (curriculum, instructors, facilities)
-Focus on operations
-Networking opportunities
-Culture
-Location
-Finances
I was particularly drawn to strong ties with partner companies that take special interest in operations, the rigorous technical curriculum and the plant treks open to students. During my visits, I had the chance to meet with other admitted or current students and really felt like I could fit in the group. Every student was friendly, open-minded and down to earth. In the end, I chose LGO exactly because of these two distinguishing factors: its competitive advantage in operations and a great community.
I know that other classmates were choosing between schools and came for additional reasons. Some enjoy the duality of the program, since you can take advantage of the n. 1 engineering school; some are excited about the 6-month internship; others considered the financial package as an added bonus in their decision.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank You bschoolapplicant17!
if I may ask, Why Sloan? I see you have received admits from all the universities you have applied to. How do you zero in on Sloan?

Hi everyone,
My name is Lilly Cao and I am an LGO '17. I remember being in your shoes as applicants last year and I found it particularly helpful that a current student was available to give more information in this forum.
A lot of the admission details are listed on the LGO website so be sure to read that thoroughly. Some useful links to the latest class profile and career stats are listed below:

You will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in the campus, meet current students, attend mock lectures and experience the incredible culture that convinced me to matriculate here.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. While I have no weight in the admission process itself, I can share insights from my experience of the program so far.
Best of luck with your applications!
