"If you have not received an interview invitation by end of day 14 November 2017, you will not be admitted in this round."

Reasonable to assume that if you didn't receive an email at 1:30 ET, you'll get one at the end of the day to ding you (myself included).

They said in their last email blast in October that if you don't receive an interview invitation by EOD, you will either be notified that you're waitlisted or denied. To be honest, I'd rather be denied and forgo the agony of languishing on the waitlist... but if I'm waitlisted of course I'll stay on it... only a few more hours to find out.

I’d agree but I️ guess I’m surprised no one is reporting an interview invite today

Yeah maybe they send out a large batch on the last day. Or maybe they will end up not meeting their deadline? Don't know the likelihood of these two scenarios.

Aren't we under expectations for all schools? I think GMAT Club may no longer be representative. :?

Finally, denied. :sad:

I'm actually okay with this. My pride is bruised. But part of me was dreading having to prepare for another interview, and I worried deep down that I wouldn't be able to afford the GSB (I hate loans). I'm taking this as a sign that I need to be in Canada - no H1B visa dread, and I would not have to live under Trump or the current Republican party ever again.

The denial stings, but I think I'll live.

I’m not sure of what you said about Trump or GOP but I do think there are amazing US business schools that can potentially give you just as many opportunities as Stanford.

Hey - just to clarify, I'm not super interested in staying in the U.S. (have lived here for over a decade). I didn't apply to any other U.S. schools for that reason, although I visited several and researched others. In case its not clear from my post, I'm very happy to go to Rotman.

make sure you get this one and not interview invite!

Well this year it's well over 8000 and around 400 students, so I guess GSB is dropping from 6% to less than 5.
Good to know.

Nah when you factor in yield it’s about the same. Stanford yield is about 80%. 1/.8=1.25

1.25*400=525 -> 525/8000=6.25%
