Is anyone concerned about the impact the recent financial aid scandal will have on GSB’s reputation / ranking? For me, the brand is the major differentiator between GSB and my other top choice of school, and I am wondering if maybe GSB brand or ranking won’t really be a differentiator in the coming years. Thoughts?

Does anyone have experience, opinions, or thoughts on including a "reapplicant essay" in the Additional Information section? I have one, but I am now thinking it might be overkill since they are basically the only top school that doesn't explicitly ask for one.

First of all, big congrats on your admit. Pardon my french, but but being worried about brand/ ranking of the GSB is ridiculous. This "scandal" was hyped up in the MBA community (for lack of much else that's actually newsworthy in the "real" world). Give it a couple of months and no-one will care or remember.
GSB and HBS have been the top two schools for a long time and will stay for a long time. Between the two, Stanford even has the edge mostly between cross-admits. So I'd be really surprised to see you turn Stanford down (unless it's for HBS with serious $$$ difference).

Just submitted my application for R2! Best of luck to everyone who's in the same boat.

This may be the most paranoid question on this forum, but...I took a look through the PDF that the system generates after you hit submit, and I couldn't see any of the attachments I uploaded (resume, transcript, essay, additional info). With the other schools I applied to, I either could actually read the essays themselves, or at least see that I've added a file.

...I'm sure I'm just being extra-paranoid, since there were no error messages indicating any missing info in my application. But this entire MBA-seeking process has made me a bit stir-crazy.

Is this just a weird thing with the GSB application system? Is there anyone here that can see their attachments?

Thanks!

Same here, don’t worry, before submitting, I went through View version and it was available!
