The melon is cut into a 5:6 ratio
so the weight is a multiple of 11 (5+6)
The bigger part is further cut into a ratio of 6:7
so the weight is also a multiple of 13 (6+7)
Let the Total weight be 11*13 = 143 unit
Melon is cut into a 5:6 ratio
so the weight of melon parts being 65:78
the 78 kg part is further divided into a 6:7 ratio
which is 36:42
therefore, 3 pieces weight being = 65:36:42
Answer is B

=> 5:6 [5 + 6 = 11 parts] and 6:7 [6 + 7 = 13 parts]
Let's say melon has an initial weight of 143. [LCM of 11 and 13]
First two pieces: 65 and 78.
Bigger (78) in two parts: 36 and 42.
Ratios: 65: 78 and 36:42
Final ratio: 65: 36: 42
Answer B
