Asked: The line 3x + 4y = 8 passes through all of the quadrants in the coordinate plane except:
x/(8/3) + y/2 = 1
x-intercept = 8/3
y-intercept = 2

If we join the line with positive x-intercept and positive y-intercept, it will pass through I, II & IV quadrants.

Solution:

Try the connect b/w slope and equation of the line

Also visualize the graph of such a line

3x + 4y = 8

=> Y = -(3/4)x + 2

=>Slope negative

=>The line passes through 1st,2nd and 4th quadrant and doesnt pass through 3rd(III) quadrant.

(option c)
