I am guessing you are asking for MIM. If I am judging solely on the basis of GMAT,I would definitely suggest that consider retaking. 680+ is a minimum but 700+ is what you should aim for to maximize chances and keep the margin for increased competition

if you come from SE Asia, pls retake if you don’t think you’ve got anything on your CV that makes you unique (this includes international exp. which unis apparently seem to have a hard on for)

Also, something I have noticed about ESSEC, R1, R2 and R3 are more or less equally good to apply. I didn’t see any significant increase in selectivity among the 3 rounds for ESSEC. So if you come to a positive where you are considering applying for R2, you can go for it(in my opinion)

i mean i’d still say the earlier, the better
