Hey, I've just begun my prep using gmatclub and I am aiming for 755+ on the actual test. What level of questions should I practice on the gmatclub question bank and how do you usually structure your practice?

Approaches I've tried so far
1. Set a timer of 45 minutes and try doing 23 questions straight at the 705 - 805 level and then review.
2. Forget time. Just get 10-15 a row correct in the 655-705 difficulty.

But in the real thing the difficulty will increase with questions. How do you try to make that compromise work especially with how the question banks here on GMAT Club are laid out?
How do you structure your practice? Is there any other, more optimal strategy that I haven't tried. All advice helps. Thanks
Hi ANIM0,

Those are some good questions. Here are my thoughts:

1. A few important things to keep in mind about question difficulty: (a) solving questions slightly above your current ability level is generally more efficient than solving only the hardest (or easiest) questions, (b) everyone, no matter how good, can learn something even from easier questions, and (c) even perfect scorers will not receive only super hard questions.

2. I know that getting questions correct in a row is pushed hard by a small subset of GMAT club users. While I respect their opinion, this approach basically makes accuracy a function of accuracy, which really isn't very helpful.

Concepts + practice + review (don't ignore review) remains, at least in my opinion, the best way to improve. Also, have you taken an official practice test yet?

Hi @ANIM0 ,

Towards the end of your study, you might also consider doing mixed sets (a set comprise of different question types), or sectional tests.

You can do mixed sets in Forum Quiz here on GMAT Club (subscription-based). In GMAT Club Tests, you can do sectional mock tests, focusing on the section you'd like to focus on, as well as obviously full practice tests.
