Hi guys,
May I request you to grade my argument essay and tell me how you would rate it from 1-6 :
=======
The following appeared in a letter from a homeowner to a friend.
"Of the two leading real estate firms in our town—Adams Realty and Fitch Realty—Adams Realty is clearly superior. Adams has 40 real estate agents; in contrast, Fitch has 25, many of whom work only part-time. Moreover, Adams' revenue last year was twice as high as that of Fitch and included home sales that averaged $168,000, compared to Fitch's $144,000. Homes listed with Adams sell faster as well: ten years ago I listed my home with Fitch, and it took more than four months to sell; last year, when I sold another home, I listed it with Adams, and it took only one month. Thus, if you want to sell your home quickly and at a good price, you should use Adams Realty."
Write a response in which you examine the stated and/or unstated assumptions of the argument. Be sure to explain how the argument depends on these assumptions and what the implications are for the argument if the assumptions prove unwarranted.

Here's my argument essay:

The argument above summarizes how Adams Realty is one of the best real estate firms in the town and why a seller should choose them over Fitch Realty, the other leading real estate firm in the town.
When a seller wants to sell a house, he always wants to choose a real estate firm that has a lot of smart real estate agents who are dedicated towards their work and provide full attention to their clients' home selling requirements. Adam's Realty has 40 real estate agents working full time to address the needs of their clients and close the deals on time. On the contrary, Fitch realty has 25 part time workers, which means they are not going to be always available for their clients when the clients want them. This often makes good offers slip away and sellers lose the faith in their real estate agents.
The revenue earned from homes sales is another top indicator of the success of a real estate firm. Adams' revenue was twice that of Fitch last year, which clearly indicates that they are a leading real estate firm in the town. They seem to get better price to the sellers for their property than Fitch Realty. The average home sale by Adam's reality is $168,000, which is $24,000 more than that of Fitch Realty. This clearly shows that agents at Adams are able to provide better rates to their clients and hence, make more revenue. This clearly makes clients happy and the company's revenue also grows.
Homes listed with Adams sell faster. Last year, it took just 1 month to sell a house at Adams. Considering the fact that there are so many intricacies involved in home selling, agents at Adams definitely seem well-versed with the process of home selling. Ten years ago, a house listed with Fitch Realty took 4 months to sell. This means houses don't sell quickly with Fitch. This could also mean that agents at Fitch are not as qualified as Adams in home selling business. Adams Realty might be sending their agents on periodic conferences and training on how to learn and grow the business. But since agents at Fitch work part-time, it might be difficult to get them together for a conference or a training.
In summary, Adams Realty is one of the top real estate firms in the town. Their business is growing and they seem to provide a value for money and time to their clients. So, if you want to sell your house at the best rate and in a short time, you should definitely consider Adams Realty over Fitch Realty.
